Published: Friday, 19 February, 2021

Coralis is a Project funded by the European Union and coordinated by the CIRCE Foundation, in the framework program H2020-EU.2.1.5.3. Sustainable, resource-efficient and low-carbon technologies in energy-intensive transformation industries.

The European Commission (EASME), together with the participation of 29 partners, will collaborate closely for 4 years, with a budget of almost 18 million euros, to achieve its purpose.

One of its main objectives is to create new relationships in the value chain, through innovative approaches that allow and extend the Industrial Symbiosis (IS).

Raising technological factors, decarbonizing industrial areas, moving towards a circular economy and establishing optimal conditions for sustainable operation, thus saving on resources and energy.

It is expected to develop a Virtual Evaluation Platform that manages the IS data, for application to a real industrial environment.
