The construction sector tripled its activity in the first nine months of 2022 in terms of budget and shot up by 44% the number of works carried out, setting a new record in both cases.
Specifically, according to data from analytical solutions technology firm DoubleTrade, 41,569 works were carried out during 2022, 44% more than in the same period of the previous year, reaching the highest figure in the last five years.
In addition, DoubleTrade estimates that more than 9,700 new construction projects were started in the last quarter of the year, so the sector is expected to maintain its growth momentum.
