Industrial warehouses require complementary ventilation systems, as natural ventilation is not enough, due to their size and distribution. Usually these systems are obsolete, fail or directly there are none.

Air quality is essential for the health of the workers inside the buildings. Breathing poor quality air causes serious problems in the respiratory tract, headakes, anxiety, or irritation of the mucous membranes, eyes, nose or throat.

It is advisable to reinforce the cleaning of the air filters, renewing the indoor air and increasing the ventilation of the ventilation systems, about 4-10 renewals/hour. Thus controlling humidity, improving the thermal conditioning, reducing the concentration of gases, favouring the extraction of smoke in case of fire and avoiding the entry of pathogens.

There are 3 different types of ventilation systems, for industrial buildings :

  • Forced or dynamic ventilaton
  • Static or natural ventilation
  •  Wind ventilation

At Duinsa we choose the most suitable ventilation system according to the needs of each client, studying the necessary air flow, the kind of fans, the extraction and entry points of outside air and the air currents, to prevent it from recirculating.
